Is there any reason to think we wont? We got it back after the spanish flu. We still own a massive amount of fire power.

Are we still not a free democratic republic. Are people calling their legislatures demanding lockdowns end? No most are supportive of the lockdowns.

Claims that we have permanently lost our freedom is fearmongering.

What it really means is:

Shutdown of economy;
Millions of people jobless and isolated;
Citizens denied basic rights at the point of a gun;
