I know about that meltdown, they think this thread believe the death rate is going be high like 3 to 5 percent.
I think they miss the point if we take action like social distancing, setting up hospital response in advance; basically what President Trump is doing, the rate could be as low as 2% to .7%.
What gets me President Trump is out in front saying this is a real threat.
If people would just stow their ODD for a bit and let President Trump take care of it, we’ll have a reasonably good outcome and keep that death rate low. It will also give him time to bitch-slap a few people that really need it. Certain governors and mayors come to mind. And a certain Speaker of the House and Senate Minority Leader.
Given the herd of cats running the federal and state governments and the crappy hand dealt to us, we are not doing too badly. We should be able to avoid going down the Italy road.
Then China needs to be held accountable. The real enemy.
