Rhode Island’s third conornavirus-related death announced; state now has 294 cases

PROVIDENCE — A third Rhode Islander has died from coronavirus, Gov. Gina Raimondo announced Sunday.
Fifty-five new coronavirus cases have been identified in Rhode Island since Saturday, bringing the state’s total to 294 since the beginning of the month, she said. Thirty-five people are hospitalized, she said.
