John Wayne was considered one of the greatest actors in history. Nicknamed "Duke," Wayne's portrayal of characters from tough, fair-minded western men to seasoned military officers resonated in his personal life, full of respect of our country and its conservative traditions and patriotism.
Note: This Quotefall actually contains two short quotes by John Wayne, who was always one to communicate effectively in few words.

To solve the puzzle:
- Enter the letters in the top half (letter columns) of the puzzle into the white squares on the bottom half (answer grid) below
- Each letter must stay in its own column within the grid
- Each letter must be used exactly once
- Black squares represent spaces and do not get letters
- Gray squares represent punctuation marks or numbers and do not get letters
- Some words will continue from one row to another. Only spaces (black squares) or punctuation marks separate words.
