With the sports world on hiatus amid the COVID-19 pandemic, ESPN is gearing up to show a multitude of classic Monday Night Football games in the coming weeks.
The network will air five games over the next five Mondays at 8 p.m. ET each week, giving football fans a way to pass the time while stuck self-isolating due to the coronavirus.

MLB Network showed Game 6 of the 1986 NLCS Mets v. Astros. Watched the entire game reliving my youth. You notice how much the game has changed, for the worse, from then.
The sports channels up here are showing a number of hockey games. It’s nice to go back to even the 1980s and 90s periods and see the players not wearing suits of armour and that there is just organ music in the background, as opposed to the canned music and sound effects for the ADD crowds of today.
What would really be cool would be to see if the colour videotapes of games that both CBS and NBC broadcast during the 1967 to 1975 era still exist and show those. All sorts of colourful teams and characters and events from that time of the game.
Colts Bucs 2003 didn’t make it? Craziest comeback I’ve seen besides Brady’s SB comeback.
Sad that the Miami/Dallas When Marino threw for like 9000000 yards in one game.
They run sports movies on Fridays. Personally I enjoyed a series of the history of basketball with college and nba stuff mixed in. They said on the Espn2 airing it was all on Espn+.
