This entire story is just now really unfolding, and it’s only 4-5 months in. A lot of people thought that back then. A lot has happened since then. A lot of people still think that. I can’t fault anyone for saying something stupid about this virus and then understanding.

Yes, I feel this way too. Hindsight is always 20/20. They are just really annoying when they get on a high horse, and the media lets them.
Rush Limbaugh also downplayed the virus in the early weeks as well.
There were many claims made, based on bad information....because China was not forthcoming and the WHO was in their pocket.
