UNION COUNTY, N.C. A 24-year-old woman was charged after an abandoned newborn baby was found alive inside of a plastic bag and hidden under leaves outside of a Marshville home Wednesday afternoon, the Union County Sheriffs Office said.
Casey Marie Thomas faces charges of attempted murder and felony child abuse after giving birth at home.
Detectives said they believe Thomas put the infant in a plastic bag and hid him outside under leaves.
Deputies said a concerned family member took Thomas to a local hospital after noticing she had lost a lot of blood. Medical professionals said it seemed like she recently gave birth, but Thomas denied it.
The hospital then called the Union County Sheriffs Office and said they thought Thomas recently gave birth.

Yeah, but it's all the way across town. Ain't nobody got time for that.
Shes just like 1 in 4 females in the USA, except she waited a few minutes too long to be called a feminist champion. Thank God she didnt succeed. Her intent was absolutely the same.
Wholly a mother, just like the mothers of 1.56 billion little boys and girls killed since 1980. A rate of 1.3 children per second. And men and women worldwide celebrate their actions and even award them.
I wonder, how many unrepentant killers will attack this particular mother for her actions while denying their own sin. Not that this mother is innocent, but that they will refuse their own guilt.
Oh shoot, its almost 1.57 Billion now, my bad.

Amen.
“Horrors such as this are the direct result of the cheapening of life caused by legal abortion :-( It is a very dangerous and slippery slope.”
Yup.

Union County.
Or, as we pronounce it around here...
Onion County.
Doesn’t she know plastic bags aren’t “green”?
In short, found alive but they were trying to kill it.
