I offended somebody in college when I referred to “The Squirrel of Great Price”. This is the same guy that one time I walked past his dorm room and complimented his excellent picture of Barry Gibb, that didn’t go over at all.
Years ago National Lampoon had a “Religious Sacrilege of the Year Award” contest.
