Just saw on Fox that the peak is 2-3 weeks away.

That would be the first peak.

Then back to work.

Then the second peak—much, much worse...

That light at the end of the tunnel is the train coming at you... :-(

Ecel projection of the number of deaths in the US based on reports, and the current factor of 2 rate (every 3 days now). At some point, increasing levels of quarantine, population immunity (some say when around 60% have had it), and advances in treatment will begin to slow the doubling rate.

One could work back from these number to estimate those who've been infected, recovered, rough date population immunity acquired, or the virus basically runs out of US citizens to infect...keep in mind they are interdependent and must be considered, plus issues related to decreases in availability of medical services, as the outbreak progresses, included.
