I know, right? I actually talked a friend out of going to Mardi Gras, as it seemed pretty clear where we were heading. Multiple counties in California had “shelter in place” orders a week before Mardi Gras and events were being cancelled all over the place, but Mayor Cantrell had no idea?

Yeah, unfortunately this virus made fools of a lot of people. Well not you and me - we saw what was coming.

The problem was so many leaders listened to the BS from the WHO and the CDC. So did Trump.

Thank God Trump soon saw the fallacies in the CDC and immediately fixed it. But that took precious time.

Anyone trying to blame Trump for something that was going to be obviously bad will in the log haul lose credibility and hopefully, their next election.

A co-worker, of my sister’s, did go to Mardi Gras...with a group of friends. Most are in their 60s, I think.

So far, so good. I think they mostly stayed in their hotel, during the rowdiest part of the festivities (night). This is a group of friends who’ve been going together, for decades :- /
