Louisiana is almost near capacity in treating patients infected with COVID-19, Sen. Bill Cassidy said Saturday.
The Louisiana Republican told Fox News his state cannot be lost with the focus on New York, which is currently the state with the highest number of coronavirus cases and deaths.

A HEALTHY 40-year-old man has died from the coronavirus in Miami marking the Florida city’s first death from the global pandemic.
Israel Carreras told friends he contracted the deadly virus at the city’s Winter Party Festival, held from March 4 through 10 in Miami Beach.
Carreras’ partner, Franco Conquista, said the man isolated himself at home, but sick quickly, WSVN reported.
He died on Friday.
