I liked it better when they had the whole draft over one weekend and you just sequestered yourself for a Saturday and Sunday while they knocked the whole thing out.

Yup - Chris Berman, Tom Jackson and of course Mel Kiper to make some GM angry. Draft day used to be a lot of fun. Draft day is one more thing Goodell has ruined about the NFL.

The NFL is now a year-round business.

Like so old the league didn’t yet exist.

Since it won’t be playing this fall.

You shouldn’t be so hard on the NFL. I would be willing to pay them as much as grocery stock boys, who are actually more critical to our country, but I am being generous to the players!

Pats picked a good time for a bridge/salary-cap reset year.

They should have nearly 100 million to play with next year.
