Police in India going cane happy on lockdown violators.
Most fun the cops have had in weeks.
Plus lots of opportunity for double shifts and time and half.
We need to get some canes and head to DC. ;)
They need those guys in San Francisco to keep the streets clean.
Wouldn’t work here. Told many people carry.
I worked in IT for an Indian guy, a big Sikh, in computer programming. We always used to joke about having to use the ‘lathi method’ on one particularly uncooperative employee.
Surely we can do the needful and all but just get along, isn’t it?
The issue in India is that people are desperately poor. If the lockdown is keeping people away from jobs, the other shoe will drop. Famine deaths will become a problem.
But only in groups of 10 or fewer...
I believe I would take that cane away from the masked cowards and stick it where the sun don’t shine
