Hydroxychloroquine, if judged effective, would beat out more expensive (and profitable) drugs in the pipeline. Investors would not like that.
You may be right. Chloroquine has always been heap, even in Africa 40 years ago. And I am sure it’s gone generic long ago. It can be produced cheaply and quickly.
