True, but its kinda like New York and California, no matter what the Dems do, they are confident they will still win, and they have done some pretty crazy stuff over the years.For example, I don't see any Republican winning the governorship of California for the foreseeable future despite the massive homelessness and all the crazy stuff they have pulled.
No, they are not dumb, but the unions and illegals are already in the bag. All the other voters, on the fence, just have to hear the constant drumbeat that 'Orange Man Bad' and that the hydroxichloroquine was never a 'proven' remedy and voila', they vote Democrat.
In short, the Governor isn't stupid, but the electorate is.
