A good fiddle tune gets me thinking about another great fiddler, Tommy Jackson. Jackson was one of the greatest Nashville recording session players of all time. Here he is with one of his many tunes when he was playing for Ray Price in his band the Cherokee Cowboys. Many of Ray’s songs would feature Tommy’s distinctive backup fiddle work.

Totally agree with your comments about Tommy Jackson. At Ranch Radio I have posted 15 videos if his fiddling tunes. And if you really like fiddle music, go to Ranch Radio, scroll down to my fiddle playlist, and their you will find 138 fiddle tunes by the likes of Tommy Jackson, Howdy Forrester, Chubby Wise, Kenny Baker and many others.
