FWIU, droplet is aerosol transmission with both small and large size particles. (sneezes, coughs) whereas aerosol is smaller particles that can travel farther and remain suspended longer (such as through normal breathing).
It’s not yet certain if this virus is transmitted through breathing but I’d bet that’s the case to some extent based on how easily transmissable it seems. If that is the case, select air purifiers with certain suitable filters would be helpful.
But did they have anything other than mild symptoms?
Whatever the cause, coughing up blood is never a good thing
