Would you rather they not do anything, so if you should end up in a hospital with CoVID-19, you can hear, “We wish we could give you hydroxycholorquine, but hoarders have bought out everyone’s supply, so there is none” ?
The point is that THEIR procedure ENSURES bodily damage (you have to test positive, which takes a few days) - when they could instead start you on the 5-day regimen if you present with symptoms, instead of waiting.
Of course, maybe you're right. Our system is built on milking long-term damaged people, like type-2 diabetics, who could be instructed to lose the carbs, but instead get insulin "because more profitable" for "health" systems and carb-pushing snack companies...
