Democrat-run NYC health and hospitals not so good?

Whodathunkit? I’m shocked beyond words.

Cuomo said the other day that the cases of virus are doubling every 3 days. That might be true in New York City, and the surrounding counties, but here in Oneida, we have 9 cases. Three days ago it was 8. If you went by Cuomo’s statistics, it should be up to 16 cases, but its not.

It is not the rich and elite, it is people who have private insurance who want good care. The illegals and the Medicaid recipients go wherever is closest to their house.

I’m pretty sure that Trump is directly in charge of the N.Y. health services.

The Borough of Queens is one of, if not the MOST “diverse” areas of the US.

Lots of folks from every third world shiite hole living on top of each other. Dirty. Not Sanitary. From countries with NO TOILETS. Bad personal hygiene.

(America is the land of Refrigeration and Hygiene)

And you wonder why they are dropping like flies?

If not, his children must be!

True, and the state hospitals are regulated and supervised by the Governor. Now that they are revealed to be incompetent, they want Trump to be a monarch.

Not sure why hospitals who want to play the blame game ignore their county and state-levle folks, like the governor, for their two minutes hate.

Like all libidiots they believe in basing things on sh1tty computer models that never follow actual real-world incodents because the computer models are always flawed. Always.

Before I retired, I worked for NYC HHC for 25 years. I have a lot of friends who are still on the job and putting in 13+ hour days, everyday. One, a manager in a tech unit, is currently putting together beds for the Post Acute Care Unit (PACU).

I don't think people here are commenting on the dedicated people working at the hospitals. I for one am hoping and praying for their success and safety. They are facing a very difficult situation and they deserve whatever support we can provide.

However, it is annoying to hear New York Democrat politicians like the mayor and the governor try to blame everybody else, and in particular President Trump for their failure to provide sufficient resources for the hospitals they run, or sufficient planning for a potential epidemic.

Lots of people are trying to help the people of New York, and the doctors, nurses, and medical technicians and staff who are treating the COVID-19 victims. Cuomo, DiBlasio, and their left wing media friends should focus on doing the same thing and not trying to make political points when their own lack of preparation is a part of the problem.

I read an article yesterday about nurses improving gowns from trash bags, and facing a critical lack of PPE. They stated that there has been a shortage of supplies in their hospital for a year, a problem that started long before COVID-19 arrived.

And you wonder why they are dropping like flies?

Actually more likely reasons are the number of people who traveled to other areas that are infected, and most likely of all, contact with infected people as a result of the type of work they do.

The people who live in Queens do the jobs which are risky in an epidemic. One victim was an Uber driver who took an unwell customer from JFK to Westchester County. He lost his life as a result of being the driver for some some wealthy person traveling back from who knows where with the illness.

Jewish media outlets in NYC, as well as the numerous Jewish education outlets are passing along the actual names of the numerous CV victims. This is obviously many times more dangerous than flu.
