Yep. We are using whole body segmental impedance analysis (amazing 90 second test. Expensive device) for rare disease patients. It rapidly calculates, muscle, fat, etc, as well as BMR.
We hopefully will be able to expand this to other neurodegenerative disorders (post CCP-19), but are being held up now. We are ready to go with Parkinson's (miRNA complete) and Alzheimers.
We are disturbed at the extent of sarcopenia in the young and not just the elderly. This is another disturbance resulting from metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance.
