What will you put in it’s place? Our house has all popcorn ceilings and some of it is peeling off..,

Popcorn ceiling....
I hope your doing it the right way. The older stuff was high in asbestos. So get it nice and wet and it will come right off. Use a resporator. And be careful of dust lingering around. Have fun.
