I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with the BIA.
I am not Osage...but I am part Pottawatomie..
I've a friend that works for the BIA..He is part Osage
He basically oversees possible destruction of artifacts, graves, etc....
Yeah..the BIA has some stupid rules and regs...
I had a chance to work for the BIA..in a Smoking Cessation..program. As I am a RRT..and part Native..I qualified for the job...The problem was they wanted me to travel all over the country..to different Rez's. I didn't want to do that....
