Ha! Typical. New Yorkers don’t bother you unless you need them; then they are all there. Kind of like the West Coast and probably many other areas.
I once did that for a little group going to Lincoln Center. I knew it would be hard to explain how to get there once they got to the area, with the streets going all crazy ways, so I walked up with them. Then I think I took the bus the rest of the way.
So nice that she did that.
At the time of the bicentennial I was living in an apartment with 7 windows on the Hudson River. There were two older women who lived in another apartment on the floor, so they came over to see the ships, plus my entire Bible study group. Sweet memories.
