As I’ve said..it’s not the number dead so far.
It’s the total collapse of our healthcare system that is imminent, plus hundreds of millions infected.
Our own local, 8 hospital healthcare system is at capacity already. There’s an article about it in the local paper this evening. They are already converting OR’s to ICU wards as their existing ICU wards are totally full with CV19 patients. And we’re only in inning 1 of a 9 inning ballgame.
I have a family member that’s a nurse in that system. She has a friend that intubated 15 people last night, in a 6 hour period. And that’s just the beginning of what we face..
Didn’t any of you catch Cuomo’s presser this AM? He did a far better job than I could pretend to do laying out the problem we ALL will face in terms of complete overload of our h/c systems..not to mention the potential number that won’t live thru CV19..
Yes! We all get it! We’ve been following the progress from the beginning. We are under attack! We have other nations to model. Everyone does not have to hunker down in a bunker. Somebody has to man the perimeter. We need scouts in enemy territory. We need supplies. We need ammo. We need medics. And we need vaccines. Everyone does not have to hunker down in caves or we will be overrun by the enemy.
Deal with the hot spots and charge on!

So what is your predicted date for the first (just the 1st, not the 2nd) 100 Million Americans to have been infected? And what is your date for the “total collapse of our healthcare system that is imminent”?
