I’ve seen that show along with several others made for those people who aren’t adults, and they’re quite informative. I’ve learned a lot from watching them.
I’ve dealt with old birds and abused and/or disabled birds, and having a young healthy bird isn’t exactly new to me, as most rescues have at least a year’s growth, but this is the first time I’ve had a very young healthy bird in a very long time, and I’m learning how to be a Bird Mom all over again.
She likes strings, so I just ordered a string toy from the store in St George (cheaper than driving there) and with luck, it will be here Monday. I hope that and the paper toy help her. I can swap them out if it seems she’s bored with one.
Last night, we saw the one where the cheetah had kittens. Very cute, and it was also interesting to see that they were socializing the kittens with dogs.
