Mayor de Blasio is acting like a control freak in a control store ... or ... something ... anyway.

None of his control freak measures are slowing the spread of COVID-19.

I sent him my proposal but he hasn’t responded. I suggested he 1) immediately licence all New Yorkers (even the illegals - I threw that in to appeal to his wokeness) to carry a handgun and 2) make it legal to shoot someone who is six feet or closer to you.

I can’t see how that won’t stop the spread of the virus.

Mayor de Blasio is out of his depth and panicking.
The Japanese brought this thing rapidly under control by simply wearing FFP2NR face masks.
The problem is the long incubation period of this thing, between five and fourteen days. Most people show some symptom by day five, even the professional disease carriers.
The firearm thing appeals but wouldn’t be required is you all just wore face masks and washed your hands as often as possible.
I sit here reading the forum comments and really would like to bang heads together.
Both camps are right. Freedom is being violated, but can soon be unviolated, you’re all armed. Lockdown becomes a necessary evil if no one is doing anything themselves to help. As we saw here. (UK)
When the bug has Voetsak thing can return to normal and proper preparation carried out for next time.
Maybe I’m being to simplistic, but that is the path I’m currently headed down.
