I thought that was the same Andorra, but I wanted to be sure. Maybe by the time it happens, he’ll be clean and shiny!
But what an awesome reward for a Scholarship finalist! That should give him some incentive, for sure.
Andorra is his favorite country. He’s a quirky nerd!
All your kids are nerds. With one exception, I think. But sometimes, it’s good to be a nerd! ;o]
I’d be happy to visit Andorra. It has scenery. And wine.
If I ever get the chance to travel again I’m going to be very particular about where we go.
Somewhere else.
Only two things keep me from going to Andorra: 1. My passport expired six years ago and I’ve never had the money to renew it, and B. There also isn’t enough money to get to Andorra.
I always wanted to go to Spain for longer than refueling... We landed at Torrejon to refuel when we left Germany, but were only there long enough to fill the tanks. My Favorite Son was seven and was very tired, so we didn’t get off the plane.
Still, I’ve never lost my Wanderlust. Now, for a brief second or two, I thought about taking the Shuttle to Pleasant Grove to visit New Nephew Bill and his wife... And maybe a stop in Payson, where I grew up...
But. The move. Time, energy and money. Foci.
I forgot to ping you to #5046. :o|
Then I shouldn’t have read it before you did????
Fine editor you turned out to be...
I rarely travel far. Vlad has two years to drill for the PSAT.
A quick search shows a round trip, Charlotte to Barcelona, is about $800 to $1,000. I suppose one would take the train from Barcelona to Andorra.
Yes, I know the feeling. St George is “far,” and I’ll see more of it this month than I have in quite a while. Thursday is my appointment with the ophthalmologist in preparation for the laser surgery on my right eye. Then the 26 is the one with the GP.
I have to do both of them. Next week is the pain clinic, but that’s here.
Well, that still won’t get me and all my things, including the BB SUV to Arkansas, before I head for Spain!
My mouse is dying. I’ll have to get another one tomorrow, so I hope I have enough. I hate when I can’t plan farther ahead. This just started acting up over the weekend, and it’s getting worse each time I use it.
James killed a mouse recently.
Maybe if I didn’t work so many online jigsaws I wouldn’t break so many mouses. Mice. Mices. Meece. Rodents. Computer aids.
Could be.
I sent you a picture of a mushroom. It is not a cauliflower.
I could fit four people across the front seat, four more across the back, and at least six in the trunk without having to dismember anyone...
Once things clear up in my life a bit... I may see if I can junk this Camaro I can’t seem to do anything with and see if I can’t find another 1969/70 Olds 88... Gotta have the 455 motor though... :-)
Yes, it looked very much like a “cauli-blossom” as my mother used to call it. She had no idea she was so funny.
It’s good to have an enthusiasm.
I used to have a time slip from a local 1/4 mile track. After dropping the Detroit Locker rear-end in it, I took the Olds out to the track. Ran her on 108 octane race fuel with street slicks, etc... After playing with various timing/engine things... Her best run was 12.3@127MPH. Not too shabby for a 4500lbs door-slammer that I drove to the track.
... and that was in High School. Kinda makes me a little nervous what I could with what’s in my head now... :-0
