“It is not easy for someone who has never been in politics to come in and staff the entire US government.”

During the 2016 campaign Trump made a point he wasn’t going to hire the normal Washington insiders. He specifically stated he knew the best people in industry and would bring them to Washington to fix things. He also touted his experience in business identifying and attracting the best talent. Reince Priebus, Rex Tillerson, Jeff Sessions, Jim Mattis, H.R. McMaster, Christopher Wray, Anthony Scarimucci, and most of the other people I listed were his choices. Yes the job he has is not easy, but he asked for it and made some very specific claims to get it. He is accountable for both his successes and failures.

Any great manager knows he/she is only as good as the people they hire and the organization they put together.
