I watched it to see what happened to Alpha. Instead I got a throwaway. Tell you what. Next time it’s a wasted episode I will give you the highlights in advance so you don’t have to waste your time. Would that make you feel better?
These people are the WD geeks who dissect every episode and give a recap, usually with backstory thrown in to help you recall little details. I always read it the watch the episode again to see what I missed, unless it's a waste like this last one.
Nah, don't do that, just keep your mouth shut and let us experience whatever alleged pain you may have encountered.........Sheesh!
In other words, you're the recap stinky monkey weasel who decides what we WD supporters will like or not........
No thanks Stinky Monkey Weasel, we'll decide for ourselves...
Since you feel it necessary to criticize the followers of TWD on these threads, then maybe you should just stay off it. Buttinskis like you are not appreciated and never have been........
You've been here long enough to know that thread hijackers such as yourself are not appreciated.............
Well then you keep your mouth shut and let me worry about when I get to watch it. Sheesh!
Works for me........just keep your mouth shut afterwards..........LOL!
So instead of being able to see what you missed you would rather come here and ask stupid questions nobody will answer because so few people care anymore. But hey, your efforts to show us all what an obnoxious twat you are has been the most discussion on this subject in months. Give yourself a pat on the back.
No thread hijacking stink weasel, pat yourself on the back. You're the one who has successfully hijacked this thread.....If you want attention, get yourself a dog and leave the TWD threads alone to those of us who appreciate the series..
I thought the episode was boring and disjointed. The biggest problem I had was the cell phone discovery. The image of Michonne and Judith etched into the screen were clearly contemporary; it looked like the current 10 year old Judith. But when Rick disappeared and this artifact would have been created, Judith was 4 or 5 years old and did not look anything like in the image on the phone. Nor did she wear the hat. Bad continuity error.
In case y’all don’t know, this season will now end at episode 15 since they haven’t completed the last episode and can’t do it in a timely fashion. It is due to air later in the year. I just hope they finished Better Call Saul and we get the last four of that, or I WILL riot. I’m already sure season 6 will be pushed back, and Cobra Kai season 3 will be pushed back, as Fargo season 5 has been pushed back.
“Seriously?”
Yah, seriously.
You post as if you think I am sticking up for the
placement of this episode. I don’t stick up for the
timing of the broadcast of the “Michonne Show” but
it is not a throwaway episode. If you have followed
the series then you know that story lines have been
interupted in the past w/other stories, for better or
worse. Comparing Michonne’s departure to that of
Maggie’s departure is a non-starter. Do we know that the
Maggie character definitely will not be back? What do
we know about the contract status of both actors?
The end of this episode is instructive even though
the broadcast placement of this episode may be
debatable. The “hoard” in the distance was too
organized to be walkers, apparently. We are told
that special TWD programs featuring the Rick Grimes
character are in the works (but who knows when?).
Maybe the plot involves Michonne and Rick reconnecting.
The fans may not be told of that possibility because
too many of them would figure the potential of
Danai Gurira (Michonne) finding Andrew Lincoln (Rick)
and that would spoil the mystique of the specials.
Personally, so much time has passed I’m beginning to
wonder if those TWD specials are really going to
happen. The hoards of people Michonne is trying to
catch up with have reignited my curiosity. So, argue
with the placement of this episode in the scheme of
things but it is definitely not a throwaway episode.
“Bad continuity error.”
Maybe, but maybe something else, too.
I watch a British soap opera called Emmerdale. It’s been running since 1972. We watch reruns from 1993 during lunchtime then the current episode in the evening. I’m used to throwaway episodes, annoying and expected. That said, I was hoping that there would be a difference between a soap opera that’s been running for almost 50 years and a show that has to cram everything into a season’s worth of episodes.
I don’t really care if Maggie ever comes back. I don’t care if Michonne gets a spinoff or Rick makes some movies in the future. After Fear the Walking Dead who would want another spinoff anyway? All I want to see is a good conclusion to the current season. There are enough unanswered questions (who is Beta, will Eugene find love, is Carol crazy or crazy like a fox, etc.) to fill the rest of the season but now they have one less episode to do it.
When I was trying to reason with that obnoxious crazy person (waste of time) I posted a link to one of those groups of fans with way more interest than me, the kind who watch the show one frame at a time, and they are speculating that the couple Michonne met were left behind by the group you see walking in formation because they couldn’t keep up. But that is a tangent I’m not interested in for now.
