People 55 & younger in good health should go back to normal life.
It would make more sense for govt. to pay old people or those who are not well to isolate themselves for a month or so than to tank the entire economy.
After we found out this flu was a non event for children we should have handled it like all the previous Chicom pandemics in our lifetime. Maybe lock up the sick oldsters, but continue to go about our lives.
we already pay old people...
Maybe draw the line at 65, typical retirement age. Then the people staying home are least likely to be in the workforce.
