The craziest thing is that our Shop Rite closed down its “shop from home” option - where you could pick up your groceries at a side area.
Despite any precautions we take, I don’t see how most of us avoid contact with this.
I’m in the Bay Area where supposedly we’ve been in “shelter in place” since Tues. And yet everyone is constantly going to the grocery store. Every day. With huge crowds.
It’s the opposite of social distancing and when we look back on this I think will be shown to have been a huge mistake. The grocery store exceptions. But then—people also have to eat.
We now will raise a generation of preppers who never again will be caught without lots of rice and beans on hand.
