The virus clearly spreads much more quickly in a dense urban environment.

I was ranting about Grand Central Station right at the beginning of this thing.

That one location probably is responsible for more positives than are in ten inland western states combined.

I was wondering about DFW Airport, and yet the DFW numbers are relatively low.

In the previous thread it was noted that the US numbers have now met (or exceeded?) Germany's. Not good, any increase in numbers is not good. But, to put it in perspective - Germany, in square miles, is about the size of Montana. Also, it is an extremely population dense country. The current population is 83,709,781. That's really packing them in.

Their culture is also pretty social. The norm is to shop for groceries every couple of days. It is not the norm to keep even two weeks of supplies in the house. They also eat out and socialize a lot. Going to the "baths" (big community spas and mineral baths) is a common thing to do. Although a relative told me the baths are closed now.

Anyway, the U.S. numbers meeting or exceeding the German numbers is not really a good comparison. Just my humble opinion.

“The virus clearly spreads much more quickly in a dense urban environment.”

Yes. Confirmed by my contact in the middle layers of the response. It was kind of obvious, but he stated it as indisputable fact.
