I think Trump’s response has been a good one given a bad situation.
My larger points made in the post are valid.
This “response” is now the new model for reacting to a major event going forward.
The media has been rewarded (and gained power) for the hyperbolic hysteria.
The Fed can now freely enslave our children with massive and crushing debt at the drop of the hat.
Our politicians will each try to outspend the other in response to any adverse event and assume collective control over the nation.
We will certainly survive this although it will now be the #1 issue going into November, but would we have survived it with HRC at the helm? What about Biden?
Is this type of reaction sustainable? What does this say about our future?
Your assumption about the internal to China release being accidental is most probable and right on.
I would take their cover up to another level of culpability, one where they knowing allow the sacrifice of their own people to allow the expansion plume of carriers to get well entrenched with the US and its interests. They chose not to shut it down for weeks on end.
I have a really hard time accepting that this choice not to act to internal slow down and control the spread inside their own country was anything other than by design. They had no other means to slow down or stop this and they waited weeks to implement that.
WHY?
IMO it was to allow a passive attack with a WMD to take down our Economic System.
Also, the one so-called Journalist who was removed from the White House Press Pool was also a Chinese National from the China Global Television Network. Are there really this many coincidences? I don't believe that there are.
There's a ton of good things that have come about because of this too. TONS of federal regulations have been tossed out because of this virus. The private sector as been empowered and acknowledged by the Trump administration when it comes to fighting this virus. The shift has been AWAY from the fedgove trying to do this on it's own and pretending it has all the answers to one in which the emphasis is on the American people and American companies.
We are going to come through this as a stronger more free people with smaller government.
The strategy behind Cloward Pivin is to overload the system with handouts for a permanent underclass..... The measures that government is taking in response to this virus is across-the-board..... Shutting down all nonessential businesses that are populated by people from all different economic classes does not jibe with Cloward Pivin...... My take is that a lot of this panic is based on the fact that people are living longer with lots of life extending medicines and technologies..... We have an older population than in decades past, and people are spoiled and pampered..... When I was a kid it was not unusual for people to drop dead in their 60’s..... Now that 75 is the new 55, politicians have to cover their rear ends the make sure that hundreds of thousands of active older people don’t succumb to this virus...... At the same time, closing off borders worldwide, resentment against China, and a hyper awareness of hygiene and the spread of germs plays much more into Trump’s agenda than it does to the Liberal agenda..... Hopefully chloroquine will be the magic bullet that can return things to normal sooner rather than later
Good points and thanks for looking for the positive, but we will also come out of this with a much larger and more crushing federal debt. It is also undeniable that the media has exerted their power and influence in making this bad situation far worse.
My fears about the downside of this still stand and lest we forget, we are only one election away from crushing regulations in response to the next “crisis” so such needed improvements in our national fabric are less sustainable than the underlying problems of our political class, bankers, and media.
That's ALWAYS a given. Just watching the press conference today was a lesson in that. Here we are in the midst of a huge health and financial crisis and there only goal is "gotcha" questions to make President Trump and his entire team look bad.
People need to understand that this that the democrats are willing to "overwhelm the government" (Cloward and Piven strategy) to stay in power.
Ask yourself what that means.
It means- inflict as much pain and suffering on the American people as possible so that they will give up their rights and then beg democrats to "take care" of them.
It's a sickening strategy and the main reason why they should NEVER BE GIVEN ANY POWER.
(And this is without even going into what appears to be massive corruption of the entire party. (Burisma/Ukraine and various antics of the Arkansas crime family are just 2 examples?)
It is nice that they are trying to act like they give a care about their constituents now, during CV-19 crisis, but I doubt it lasts.
I would like to see President Trump use this crisis to make America more free. Use this to in every way possible advance a pro-America agenda that defends the rule of law. He’s clearly a role model for private enterprise and limited (federal) government, but within the context of quarantine as a common law tool for addressing disease. That’s a nice start.
Perhaps once this is contained, we should finish the Wall on an even more expedited basis and start deporting all illegals - no exceptions. Those living in the shadows increase the pandemic risk to all legal residents of our country. Deport them, and then fix our immigration system so that we control who lives here and we invite in those who will contribute to our country. Never let a crisis go to waste.

China is under the thrall and control of the Central banks that knew by pushing production into a low cost high worker country they could choke the world and extract whatever they wanted from the other countries.
Trump has been saying we needed to bring the jobs home that Obozo told Americans were gone forever and would never return
They have and it will become a flood as everyone has awakened to the bad policy of putting all your eggs in one basket and being held for ransom without any other options
