Grew up where sauerbraten, dumplings & red cabbage meant a special occasion. Stationed in FRG where Grillteller & Jaegerschnitzel were favorites.

Only...whenever I rose from the table, I had this sudden urge to invade Poland.

I’m only partly German so my urge was limited to annexing the Sudetenland.
