All Charleston County Parks events and programs have also been canceled through May 10.

Some of these events may be rescheduled in the coming months.

Those who registered for events or programs that required a fee will be refunded.

While we understand how much the Parks mean to our community, the health and safety of our visitors and staff remains our top priority.

Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in your Charleston County Parks soon.

And prostitutes. Don’t forget the prostitutes.

The bums and drug dealers need something to do.

I had a cop tell me one time he didn’t arrest a guy in our bank because he didn’t want him in his car. Bum, pissy, vomitty, etc... just let him go...even though the guy had an arrest warrant!

I was furious and complained to the police chief.

Months later, in our town a violent felon with an arrest warrant walked up and killed 4 of the cops in my town, point blank shooting at a coffee shop.

My local Open Space District (The first in the country) is sending me three emails a day this encouraging people to use their trails.

Midpeninsula Regional Open Space

Don't get me wrong, I do have issues with the board, but they have beautiful properties, and over 250 miles of trail. (They should have a lot more)

That’s too bad. I live in New York State, and camped out at Edisto Beach park twice in the past, and also at the James Island County Park one year with a friend who had an RV. We were visiting friends of mine who lived on James Island on our way to New Orleans. I really like Edisto...falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, and then waking up to it again the next morning. Great sunsets and sunrises too!! Every time I visited my friends on James Island, I’d take a ride out to Edisto. At Christmas there was always someone who decorated a lonely shrub tree in the middle of the swamp with glitter and ornaments. I spent many years researching the 54 and 55th Massachusetts Infantry Regiments, who were camped in, and around Edisto, James, and Folly Island. It was a great experience to visit the sites they were at.

GA parks are open but they had to close the restrooms because people were tearing up the toilet paper dispensers to steal the TP.

I wonder if the county employees who administer/maintain the parks are still employed. If so, that’s a pretty good gig for a month.
