Trump is an obvious exception. And he will go back to business when he is finished serving our country - 8 years and done. He doesn’t need to enrich himself and I found that an attractive quality in 2016. The other attractive quality was he was never in government before. Too many people struggle with the results of that. To the point, Trump is results oriented. Government is process oriented. Since when did government ever solve a major problem on its own? It’s all about process and getting reelected. If you solve all of the problems the reasons to get reelected vanish. It’s an on-going, never ending process. There’s plenty of elected officials that have been in government all their lives, harping on the same old things, but they get rich along the way.
