The first bill had some language in in (according to HR) that people who felt it was not safe to work can leave without being fired.
So far, no one at my plant has done that but HQ is totally bugged out. All working from home. Which is great for them, but you can’t work a plant from home.

You are correct but some states are fast tracking unemployment benefits by electronic application which means all of the i's will not be dotted nor all the t's crossed. We are all socialists now! S/
I believe the state of Maine has relaxed the requirements to collect unemployment compensation. If you quit your job out of fear of contracting the virus at work or you quit to care for a relative with the virus you are immediately eligible to collect.
