I think its you. Who in the hell walks out on a job for 1200 bucks? Unless you are working at a waffle house.

I don’t think you read the article closely. Not sure which article, but you read or heard something incorrectly.

It’s $390 max per week in Indiana, although adjusted for COL, obviously California would be much less.

"Voluntary quits don’t get state unemployment, right?"

You are correct but some states are fast tracking unemployment benefits by electronic application which means all of the i's will not be dotted nor all the t's crossed. We are all socialists now! S/

You're the idiot that posted a prediction earlier this week about the market ultimately dropping to about 10K and the mods pulled it as being "trash".

Why do you continue to post trash?

Take the money given to useless agencies instead of adding to the debt

Hey. Just make a deal with the boss. Give him $250. He puts you right back to work...

I believe the state of Maine has relaxed the requirements to collect unemployment compensation. If you quit your job out of fear of contracting the virus at work or you quit to care for a relative with the virus you are immediately eligible to collect.

George McGovern wanted to give everyone $1,000 in 1972. Allowing for inflation over 48 years, the figures being talked about now are less than that.
