Some mention of these early efforts to find an effective treatment for the illness should be included in the Government press briefings.

Yes, it should. He bypassed normal protocol and put his study results out to the public early due to the critical nature of the threat. If the FDA doesn't drag this out, and things play out in line with his results, he has the potential to be a hero IMHO.

I wonder who was the person that would rather take their chances with the virus? Although he did say that it could have severe complications if the person was taking some types of medicines.
