Not that I am an expert, but I cannot make much of this passage. I tried to access the orig article but it requires taking cookies, which I try to avoid. I read the 'page source' (incl HTML) which makes following the text a challenge.
The operant Hebrew word that I find is Strong's #5596 CaPHaCh (ne'e~sefat) from a root 'to scrape out', extended to 'abiding, gather together'. The word ends in Cheth, not Teth or Tau.
If Genesis 6:15 is the reference, I do not find the word in the passage in the Masoretic text. I do not know the early Semitic roots of the word. Of course I could be in the wrong ball park.
I note the orig article refers to the ridiculous theory that the pyramid represents the primeval mound. Ridiculous rather adequately describes this whole article's theory.
Uh, the pyramids did represent the primeval mound.
