Today's Quotefall Puzzle features a quote by Clarence Thomas. Click puzzle (or click here) for full size rendition, then use your browser's print command to print puzzle.

Clarence Thomas is currently the most senior associate and the longest serving member of the US Supreme Court. His appointment by George H.W. Bush is probably one of the only choices he made that superceded that of his predecessor, Ronald Reagan, whose two selections (O'Conner and Kennedy) ended up with a tepid or outright anti-constitutionalist agenda.

All hints, along with the answer, are provided in the first reply comment below, using filtered font to prevent accidental spoilers. Please refrain from disclosing the full answer in comments to prevent spoilers.

Though to be fair, Reagan did nominate Robert Bork, who would have been a staunch Constitutionalist, but he was borked by Ted Kennedy and company, whose namesake Anthony Kennedy became the new nominee, and he turned out to be the swing vote for two decades.
