I think Italians are prone to diabetes......don’t know for sure....
By the way world leaders are reacting to Wuhan virus, Im thinking theyre being told that this could be just as bad.
Yes, it seems like theyve been spooked by classified reports. Hopefully the fears wont be borne out.
Apparently anti-malarial drugs, discovered in the 1940s, cure it.
If so, then the “plague” is essentially over (or will be in a few weeks).
Most Americans are overweight.
So we’re pretty much all at risk with ‘underlying medical conditions’.
Even early 20 somethings.
The media is sick the way it relishes these stories
Right on
Seems like there might be something in their DNA that is ravaging Italy and this family very curious could be diabetes also the family does look overweight which also affects your respiratory system!!!
Notice absolutely NOTHING on people who have recovered being reported!! SHAMEFUL!!!
We are fighting a war that we did not ask for, and the Government that so many counted on (CDC et all) showed it’s ass and are unwilling or incapable of tackling it
I do not share that which you posit about it moving downstream in the larger population vis a vis the Spanish Flu
It is already slowing in other countries that were infected earlier, and it will here as well
As things progress the full nature of the beast will be revealed and the Vaccine is coming soon, until then common sense it the best defense
Life as it was needs to be put aside each individual participate as they can
I make note of your “predictions” and I have seen your posts elsewhere on this as well
We shall see
A parting question and putting the crown on your head for a moment, stop focusing on the issue and share what YOU would do take change the course from where we are today if you were leading...
It’s slowing in the countries that have implemented travel/movement restrictions and quarantines.
Countries like Iran? dumpster fire.
Quite pitiful actually. Drunk, on drugs, insane whatever.
I don’t argue with swine.
Yes, let’s hope.
It seems the defense mechanisms of some of the president’s supporters are so strong that they can’t accept that a real threat can exist, and also be used by his political enemies. I am a strong Trump supporter, but it makes no sense to twist logic or play semantic games to try to dismiss facts indicating the possibility of a significant threat to people considerably younger than the initial 65+ warning threshold (and as far as I can tell, with no “co-morbidities”).
Michael Osterholm, who studies infectious diseases, mentioned that overweight people might have trouble battling this virus since it effects breathing capacity.
As we have, and the open Borders crowd cry foul and want unfettered egress and cry racist when they were put in place
Overall the impact to our country is far less than others who were slow on the uptake
Iran... You live by the Sword, You die by the Sword
How often has this scenario happened with the "regular" flu?
Second, all appear to be high risk, obese, at the very least.
Probably diabetes and cardiac issues also.
Not making any judgements here.
How many of us are "healthy"?
When I was younger, yeah, but approaching retirement?
Not so much.
I also don't want to take this to my Mom or my 2 immuno compromised sisters.
You got gas, touched the pump handle and keypad, opened the door, opened the cooler and grabbed a sixpack, used the keypad again, then pushed open the door by the handle.
Just imagine that someone else did exactly what you did, 5 minutes before you.
Only difference is that they're infected and the had just sneezed in their hands.
Use hand sanitizer when you come out of the store, before you get in your vehicle.
Or use gloves.
Common sense will end this, not us losing our liberty and the economy.
I just turned 54. I have teenagers in the house, one in college, work full time, and volunteer.
Sorry, not ready for the grave yet.
Might not be!!!
I agree. Both things can be true at the same time.
Horrible news. Anyone who thinks this disease is normal is not paying attention.
Here’s an article without a pay wall:
