In over 40 years of working, I'm having my first full week working at home - normally I go by train to Manhattan or by ferry to Long Island and don't get home until well past 7PM.

So now I have opportunity to switch to adult beverages right after logging off. Not sure if this is conducive to the health of my liver but I do eat well. Just had a dinner of pan fried sea bass with some roasted brussels sprouts and some sunflower crisp salad mix with kale and avocado. Polished off the rest of a bottle of red wine from last night and now about to have a coffee mug half filled with Frangelico liqueur. Thank you monks!

Bourbon, as usual. I'm going with my good, cheap Bourbon, Evan Williams. I would break out the top shelf stuff if I heard that one or more of my favorite people tested positive.

Sir Winston possessed character that is not seen these days.

The King and Queen also refused to leave London during the Blitz and visited bombed out areas to build morale. During one such visit a Londoner called out, “You’re a great King!”

He replied, “You’re a great people!”

We are doing our St. Paddy’s dinner tonight, so I started with a McTarnahan Amber, and we have some Guiness.
Later I might have a nip of Glenmorangie.

4.2% Budweiser and Clamato Chelada

8.8% Lagunitas Lucky 13, A Mondo Large Red Ale

82.3% Jefferson’s Very Small Batch Blend Of Straight Bourbon Whiskeys

Drink! Klink-Klink

My brother and I, got out of position yesterday, due to the PHX mayor closing down all restaurants by 8PM, so St. Patrick’s Day was a bust for us. We had planned on going to O’Brien’s, where the owners had dropped down the usual and customary $100,000 for a ruckus blarney blow out!

So- tonight we are cooking up a traditional dish of corned beef and cabbage, with carrots and potatoes, in the roaster, smothered in garlic and chicken broth.

But right now- back to our regularly scheduled drinking.

Woot! Woot!

Plenty of water from the sky in Phoenix valley today.

As for me tap water to wash down chemo pills. The wife however is finishing off as small batch bottle of Four Roses and now has the Angels Envy pulled to the front of the shelf.

High Five! I am in Peoria, AZ. It’s been quite a wet month. Expect a gorgeous explosion of desert blooms.

Sorry to hear about the big “C” wise owl.

Cheers to you and yours!

If you need anything, anything at all, don’t hesitate to private mail me and it will be done, done- from 6 feet distance though. ;0)
