They should be lifting local restrictions on firearms sales, not imposing more of them. This could be one of those rare times that crazies could be roaming the streets for food while the good people are sequestered at home.

I think ultimately, it will backfire on them as people are going to realize that it leaves them defenseless at a time when they recognize the need for MORE defense.
It would not endear me to anyone to have them deny me my basic right to defend myself.
