President Trump certainly does not believe this is all fake. He sees it as a winnable war that requires our help.
The President has asked me and my family to make sacrifices to help him win this. I trust the President. I will do what he asks of me.

Nothing short of a nuclear exchange or airborne Ebola justifies this response. Just letting it go through the general population and losing an additional 10,000 octogenarians is better than this reaction. If this is warranted, doing the same thing in September would have been warranted. In a normal flu year taking these measures will save more people from flu death than this will save from Chinaflu death.
President Trump has no other recourse...right now, but I predict this all starts getting walked back in @ 2 weeks.
Screw the deaths, what about ICU beds?

I doubt your walk back. All nations wouldn’t be on this track unless the leaders (world wide) were given evidence that this was an engineered bio-weapon that probably escaped Chinese labs. Also, note the sudden turn on Monday in implementing drastic measures around the world...something significant popped up to cause the change of direction.
Just saw the latest numbers out of Italy. Their death rate is 1.3%! All the overblown hype and 1.3%!!!!!!!

Our healthcare is wonderful. Their healthcare system sucks — the reason my cousin and his family, who’ve lived there since 1973, beat cheeks back here for any medium to important medical issues.
The teensiest percentage of all deaths there were due to this WuFlu.

And that’s going to remain a problem. Even if it’s learned that a treatment exists (and it looks like the Malaria quinine-type meds work for many), it NEVER will be allowed to be reported. If people don’t die, or panic over dying, Trump might win. They can’t have that.

LOL! I sort of agree. Like measles, chicken pox, etc., all of which can kill, and have killed. Have WuFlu Parties like we did in school.
They’re looking at using plasma from those who’ve recovered. It’s almost the same — putting a form of the disease in to healthy people.
The thing to do is study exactly what is going on in Italy and why the outbreak and death rate there is more than the rest of the numbers we are seeing world wide.
There must one or more factors that are not being seen or maybe ignored in the data and just what is it???????????
