Firstly, I am going to make it my mission to start posting some positive news in the form of what is being done to fight this, rather than the constant drum beat of spread, death and doom.

Also, I am particularly peeved at the media’s treatment of the testing issue. NOW, SUDDENLY, after years and years of primping government regulation of anything and everything our media is suddenly decrying government regulation as an impediment.

We conservatives have BEEN SCREAMING this for years. At every turn we have been met with the dirty air, dirty water, global warming crapola. Now that the poop has hit the fan and their policies slap them in the face. I certainly do not expect to hear any mea culpas. But for the left and media suddenly want to lay this at Trump’s feet is beyond chutzpah.

I just want to suggest that this sudden revision of a revision did not occur without a presidential boot firmly planted up the 4$$ of the regulatory 4$$es at the FDA. Writing documents like this Policy for Diagnostic Tests for Coronavirus Disease-2019 during the Public Health Emergency normally takes months and years to get the necessary bureaucratic approval to be published. Someone was working nights and weekends.

The FDA has been a major villain in the speed of our response. This past year a cancer doctor whose only administrative/managerial/executive experience appears to have been running a department of a (prestigious) clinic/hospital.

Unfortunately, doctors and professors are probably the two most notoriously bad professions for management.
