The city is considering freeing jailed suspects over the coronavirus, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Tuesday — a move backed by the city Board of Correction and Manhattan and Brooklyn DAs.
City officials are “evaluating right now people who might be particularly high-risk in terms of vulnerability to the virus,” de Blasio said at an afternoon press conference.

And that says plenty about the libtard NYC district attorneys and Board of Corrections, who support not only adding to the contagion of NYers, but releasing a horde of criminals on the city.

Again, people are using this as a way to push their agendas, and do things they’d never be able to do otherwise. Testing to see if the public says NO to anything and how hard.

Since guns are outlawed in NYC, and the idiot governor Cuomo has outlawed magazines holding more than 10 bullets ("It shouldn't take more than 10 bullets to kill a deer!" I remember him saying), I'd say it might be 5% of law abiding citizens--and having the gun would instantly make them NON law-abiding, BTW. That's just a wild guess on my part, but I really don't have any data about that. Mostly it's the criminals who have the guns, they have no hesitation about using them on the populace and on each other. Most of the guns come from out of state, mostly Florida which has lax gun laws.
At some point, in one big city a group of “youths” will collect and start a looting spree/riot.
The cops of course will do NOTHING.
Another group of YOUTHS in another big city will see that it’s open season for looting, and will duplicate.
After lots of fires, and destruction, martial law will be the only answer...

I’ve read a few cities who are doing this now - releasing inmates into the public. Are they releasing all of them, or the non-violent ones, ones who are close to their parole? Who?
I can’t imagine these criminals are going to be the ones self-quarantining (since they just got released), washing their hands and staying 6’ away from others because it’s the safe thing to do.

Gov. Newsom has just put the California National Guard on alert. But given that this is Newsom, he might be planning to use the Guard to help illegals cross the border.
