I agree. Hardly use our furnace at all, except for a half hour or so on below-freezing mornings. Sometimes five at one time scattered around the house (on the single element setting).

If using both elements with more than one heater on a circuit they blow circuit breakers, in my house, anyway.

They're wonderful here as I have a small apartment. One does it all but I have a second one when temps drop into the low 20’s and below.....Electric baseboard heat is terrible and I never use it at all now. Terrible the way it turned on and off and costly. After I got these two radiator heaters everything changed and my utility bill dropped considerably.

I spoke with electrical people about turning these down at night and they all said absolutely not. Just set it and then leave it alone. it costs more to heat the unit back up on a cold morning then if you just let it run through the night. Added benefit....no cold rooms to wake up to ever again!
