West Virginia reported its first confirmed case of the virus Tuesday evening, shortly after the death toll in the US climbed to 101, passing 100 in a grim new milestone. All of the deaths caused by the virus in the US have happened over the past three weeks.
“Our health officials came to me and said we do have our first positive in the Eastern panhandle,” said West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice during a news conference, announcing that he is closing bars and restaurants in the Mountain State.
that makes me sad. I was hoping WV could hold out somehow.
