Americans will even put up with a little of that.
But not much.
Individualism is a dual edged sword.
Culturally, we are probably the country in the world least able to get a handle on this. There’s NOTHING an American hates more than somebody telling them what to do.
Nothing.
I’m 80 miles from SF right now. Freeways are packed. Freight is moving. If anything, things are a little busier now.
Sure, a lock down order would slow things temporarily, but soon nearly everyone will ignore it.
And let the chips fall where they may.
That is why I have been predicting quarantines/military roadblocks.
I do not _want_ that to happen, but I consider it very likely.
